Brainerd, MN - Needing a win to get into the MCAC playoffs, Central Lakes scored 15 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to defeat Northland 30-15 Saturday, in the regular season finale for both teams. The 15-point win gives Central Lakes the fourth and final playoff spot in the MCAC Eastern Division. 
A win by Northland, coupled with a Minnesota West loss, would have given Northland the number two seed in the MCAC Western Division. Minnesota West defeated Fond du Lac 41-36, to lock up the number two seed. 
Northland (3-5 overall, 2-2 division) will travel to Worthington to face Minnesota West (5-3 overall, 2-2 division) on Sunday, Oct. 27. The start time has not ben announced.
