The Northland volleyball team kicked off its homecoming home stand with a 3-0 sweep of visiting Vermilion Community College Friday night in the Northland Gym. The Pioneers dominated the opening set 25-6, pulled away late for a 29-27 win in set two, and wrapped up the sweep with a 25-18 win in set number three. The Pioneers will be back in action Saturday as they host the Thunder of Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College at noon.
