Northland (2-3 overall, 1-1 MCAC Western Division) hosts Minnesota West (3-1, 1-0) Saturday at Swenson Field, Kickoff is at noon.
The Pioneers enter the contest fresh off a come-from-behind 21-14 win over Minnesota State-Fergus Falls Sunday afternoon. That game, originally scheduled as Northland's homecoming game on Saturday, Sept. 21, was postponed and moved to East Grand Forks due to bad field conditions in Thief River Falls. Trailing 14-13, quarterback
Jihad Abdual-Haqq connected with wide receiver
Angel Disla for the go-ahead score with less than a minute remaining.
