Ely, MN -  The Northalnd men's basketball team overcame an 11-point halftime deficit to defeat Vermilion 72-58 in an MCAC Northern Division game.  
The win was Northland's fourth straight, as the Pioneers improved to 10-6 overall and 4-1 in the MCAC Northern Divison.     
Neal Garcia led the Pioneers' offensive explosion with 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Also in double figures for the Pioneers were Bakri Gubara with 14 points and six rebounds, and Zack Meyer with 13 points and five rebounds.
