Thief RIver Falls, Minn. - On Nov. 16, the Northland women's basketball team rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to defeat Lake Region State on the Royals' home court. Three weeks later, the Royals turned the tables on the Pioneers and pulled off a similar feat with a 62-49 come-from-behind win over the Pioneers. 

The home standing Pioneers built a 17-5 lead after one quarter of play and scored 19 points in the second quarter to go in front 36-20 at the break. The Royals erased the deficit with a 24-6 edge in the third quarter and pulled away with an 18-7 edge in the fourth quarter. 

The Royals recorded nine steals as a team and forced the Pioneers into 23 turnovers. 

Keylee Dahl recorded a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. She was the only Pioneer to reach double figures in scoring. 
The Pioneers (5-4) continue their home stand this weekend with games against Minnesota West (3-6) on Friday at 5:30 p.m., and Ridgewater (1-3) on Saturday at 1 p.m.
