Ely, Minn. - 

    The Northland Community & Technical College volleyball team went 1-1 in a pair of non-conference matches last week, falling in four sets to Concordia College JV on Wednesday, before bouncing back with a 3-0 win over Gogebic Community College (Ironwood, Mich.) in a neutral site match-up Friday afternoon at Vermilion Community College in Ely.     
The Pioneers (7-3, 10-8) travel to Hibbing Friday to face Minnesota North College Hibbing (4-8, 4-12) in an MCAC North match-up. First serve is at 6:30 p.m.     
The next home action for the Pioneers is on Wednesday, Oct. 16 against Alexandria Technical & Community College.
