Northland Community & Technical College outscored Minnesota State Community & Technical College 20-3 in the first quarter on its way to a 74-43 road win Tuesday night in Fergus Falls.

The Pionners' depth was on display Tuesday night. Eight Pioneers put points on the board, led by freshman Jade Reese who scored 17 points and added eight rebounds in just 21 minutes on the court. Sophomore Hannah Halvorson added 14 points and seven boards.

The third-ranked Pioneers improved to 4-4 overall with the win and 2-1 against NJCAA Division III opponents.
