Grand Rapids, Minn. - 

Northland Community & Technical College defeated Minnesota North College - Itasca in straight sets Friday night to extend its winning streak to four matches. The Pioneers claimed the opening set 25-15. They held off a Viking rally with a 25-23 win in the second set, and they took the match with a 25-14 win in the third set. 

Up next for the Pioneers is a trip to Brainerd to face Central Lakes College on Wednesday night. First serve is at 6:30 p.m.
